Having trained at the "British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy", Alex’s Osteopathy is founded on the Naturopathic principles of lifestyle, optimum nutrition and holistic treatment. The Osteopathic techniques he uses help to create an environment where the body can heal itself. As an Osteopath, He does not treat only symptoms, but considers each person within their environment and treats the person.

Alex continues to develop his Osteopathic skills and is registered on the Sutherland Cranial College Pathway to study "Osteopathy in the Cranial Field".

Alex attends regular meetings with Osteopathic colleagues in the south Manchester for Continual professional Development, keeping up to date with developments in the field and furthering his knowledge in various areas. He also attends regional tutorials in Osteopathy in the Cranial field.

Alex is a passionate, committed Christian and brings his Christian values of Honesty, integrity and high moral and ethical standards into the workplace. He believes that his spiritual life is not seperate to his work life and so God's values and principles will always be present during your treatment session. Alex is regularly involved in church activities including leading services, preaching and helping to run a weekly toddler group.
In 2010, Alex decided to put his Christian principles into radical action and open a free clinic for babies and children at the church he attends. This clinic is beginning to prove popular with not only the users of the parent and toddler group and local community in Old Trafford, but also people from further afield. The desire to open this free clinic was driven by both the closure of the OCC Manchester and a deep sense that God has been calling him to give more away. As was once said by Dr. Valerie Elverton Dixon

"An open hand that gives also receives. Recession or not, you can’t beat God giving, no matter how you try."

Alex is the father of two children currently aged 6 and 4 years and so is experienced in all the ups and downs of parenting.
His other interests include cycling, rock climbing and any sport involving a ball!
